HP Instant Support won't work!

After spending all night trying to fix problems with instant support, I was told to run system recovery. My computer booted up some 80 minutes later, and everything seems to work now, except instant support. My internet connection is obviously fine, but it says I don't have one. Is there anything I can do?

Contact HP, they know their product best.
Instant Support is an HP feature not a Windows feature.

Wes,

To add to Jupiter Jones' comment, you can reach HP
support by telephone at (800) 474-6836. You'll get the
usual runaround voice mail, but once you find someone
to talk with they are usually better than those you've
been dealing with.

If your computer is out of warranty, you have the
option of paying $40 for unlimited calls until the
problem is solved, but in your case, since you have
already been working with the free service, they should
not charge you to fix what wasn't broke until you
followed their instructions.

Thanks for your responses. I've decided to just revert back to windows 98. Some of my drivers won't work, but at least it's something I can use. Thanks again.
