How to view only headings in Document Map? Mine shows text too.

I have a document I typed entirely in text. The document has sections.
After I completed the document, I inserted Level 1 headings (using Styles
pane) at the top of each section.

In Document Map, I see both Headings and text. I want to see only Headings.
When I right click a heading in Document Map, and choose view only Level 1,
it compresses my document to outline view of seeing the Heading in the
document and not the text.

I want to just see the headings in Document Map. I don't want to see
document text in Document Map.
