how to uninstall win2000 PRO completely

I want to install WIN XP PRO, but do NOT want to keep WIN
2000 on the hard drive (everytime I turn on, it asks me
which one I want to use) as I don't need both.

How can I wipe this off my hard drive? When I go to
Control Panel to add/delete programs, there is no option
for Windows.... thanks.

Simply load WinXP off the CD. You will be given an option to
format your hard disk.
