How to turn off no firewall warning bubble

M

Musawwir Spiegel

I am using Windows XP, SP2.

For reasons of my own, I turned off the firewall protection. How can
I stop the annoying bubbles that appear every time I boot up my
machine warning me that my machine may be at risk?

Hi

Go to Control Panel>Security Center and click on 'Change the way Security
Center alerts me'. Change the appropriate options in there.

Hi

Have you tried this one:

Control Panel/Security Center, click on the "Change the Way
Security Center Notifies Me" link in the left pane.

If the "Change the Way Security Center Notifies Me" doesn't stick
when you reboot, or you want to disable the Security Center totally,
you can do the following:

Start/Run --> services.msc

Find "Security Center" in the list, double click on it, set
"Startup type" to Disabled.
