How to suppress printing a page number on the first page in an exc

In your earlier post, you didn't say what application at all, but since
you're posting to a Microsoft Word newsgroup, we assumed you were
talking about Word.

If you're asking how to suppress the page number on the first page of an
Excel spreadsheet, then the answer is "you can't" with any of the
built-in Excel menu options. It may be possible to create a macro that
deletes the page numbers, prints the first page, inserts the page
numbers, and prints the second through last pages (or you can do all
this manually). If you need help with such a macro, you'll have to ask
in one of the Microsoft Excel newsgroups.
