Method 1: put that page in its own section with its own, page-numberless
header or footer.

Method 2: draw a white rectangle, anchored to a paragraph on that page,
positioned to hide the page number.

Thank you Jezebel. I've been trying to play with that "section" option, but
it does not seem to work. I looked at the draft view to verify that I was
indeed creating sections, but changes in page numbering affected the whole
document and not only that created section. I will try your second suggestion!

If you inserted a new section, then activate the header or footer in that
section, you need to clear the 'Same as previous' setting on the Headers and
Footers toolbar. Otherwise changes will indeed affect preceding sections.
