To avoid deleting session cookies I want to store the essential cookies,
delete the session cookies and retrieve the (stored) cookies.

Mashar5, I once looked into this, though for Win98. I finally settled
on the cookie program from http://www.karenware.com as it allows me to
delete any cookie I please while protecting the cookie system folder
from corruption. I don't have to move/store my "essential" cookies at
all. Karen writes small/tight programs that work beautifully, then
she gives them away! She's friendly, too, so give her site a look (I
have no affiliation other than being on her mailing list in the past).
