How to stop Ctrl-Alt-Del

Actually posted this in section on customizing Xp but
there maybe a global administration solution!

Have installed an Autologon on my Window Xp computers
which launches an Internet application. However, wish to
prevent the Ctrl-Alt-Del key combination to stop users
coming out of the application and/or getting into the task
manager (users have to press the stop/start button to
restart the computer).

Can do I do this in Window Xp (registry)?

However, all my stations are looking into a Windows 2000
Server with AD. Would it be possible to create a group
strategy which would do the job?

See my reply in Customize Doug. Forget to mention I'm
using French Windows Xp Pro on stations and French Windows
2000 server. A centralised server approach would seem a
more elegant solution (have 20+ stations to manage).

No, I haven't localized it for French. I don't speak French, so wouldn't
have a clue about the wording. As for a centralized approach, if you're
running Active Directory, you can always enforce group policies at the
server level on a domain.

Hi

yes you can, i have used Windows xp & Novell i know its a
little different but you can creat a policy using Policy
Editor, you need to get the Windows Xp ADM files which
you can download from the Web

then create a policy and copy it onto your win2k server
and that will act as your pc's policys

cheers Jonathan
