How to stop auto chkdsk?

Since I re-formatted and re-partitionned my 80Gb hard
drive I experience that at every boot-up three of the
four partitions are being checked. Not C-drive (where XP
is installed) is being checked, but D, E & F (three
partitionned).
I've tried the various suggestions found in the Knowledge
Base, but nothing works to stop this procedure.
How do I stop the disk checking from taking place
automatically at every start-up?

1.Go to Start>Run and then type in: "cmd" no quotes
2. Press Enter
2. Type in: "chkntfs /x c:" no quotes
NB "c" is the disk drive
You'll need to type in chkntfs /x d
then chkntfs/x e
and then chkntfs/x f
Hope this assists you

Taurarian,
Tried your suggestion. I knew each partition was NTSF
formatted. When running the chkntsf /x c: (and for d, e
and f) all I got was that the drives were NTSF formatted.
When re-booting, the same disk checking took place. I
used "Partition Magic" to partition the drive. I also
have Norton System Works (incl. Anti Virus, Ghost,
GoBack), Norton Personal Firewall and Norton Anti Spam
installed on my computer.
Any other ideas? Should I've received any other response
when running the chkntsf? Happy Holidays!
