I have a bluetooth adatter on my laptop which seems to be functioning
normally. I have not installed any driver for this so I assume it is
using the standard MS driver supplied with Vista.
I have searched for nearby BT devices and found and paired with my PDA
(Windows Mobile 5 Phone Edition) using a passkey.
When I look at BT devices in control panel, the PDA shows.
My question is how do I connect to this device not that it is paired?
In XP I used to use the "Bluetooth Places" but I no longer have this
option.
I want to use the PDA as a modem to connect to the internet. I can
see that the paired PDA offers this service and I have set up a
matching dial up connection but this won't work. The BT icon in my
system tray remains white and I know it should turn green once a
connection is active.
Hope someone can help with what seems a basic question.
