bluetooth driver problem

Can anyone explain how I can get a bluetooth headset to work in Vista?

I have a Dell notebook with a Bluetooth adapter running Vista Ulimate. I'm
trying to use a Plantronics bluetooth headset for Skype and other apps. I'm
able to pair the headset with my notebook, so it appears as a device in the
Bluetooth control panel. But after pairing, I'm prompted to install software
drivers for a Bluetooth Peripheral Device. I don't know where or how to find
such drivers. No software came with the headset. No drivers seem to be
available with Vista or from the Vista download service. I contacted both
Dell and Plantronics, but neither was of any help, saying that they have no
drivers and essentially it's not their problem.

How and where do I get drivers to enable the Plantronics bluetooth headset
to work in Vista? Thanks for your help and feedback.
