bluetooth profiles on ultimate laptop...

I just received a Plantronics Pulsar 590a bluetooth stereo headset.

Everything seems to work when I pair it with my vista ultimate laptop (hp
2100d), but I cannot get the actual music to play through the headset (the
skip/play/pause controls work).

I heard that Vista RTM does not have the right profiles. So, how does I get
a stereo bluetooth working on my laptop? Any suggestions?

Hello,

You will have to look on the manufacturer's (the manufacturer of the
Bluetooth hardware for your laptop - for example Broadcom) website in order
to find the proper profiles and install them. It depends on the hardware
vendor of the Bluetooth technology whether they have support for the
Bluetooth audio distribution profile (the A2DP profile that can transmit in
stereo) or not.
