I recently purchased a Bluetooth wireless headset model RF-MAB2 from
Rocketfish. It pairs to my Dell Latitude D620 laptop running Windows XP SP2
equipped with the Bluetooth Transceiver that came with my Microsoft Wireless
Notebook Presenter Mouse 8000. I see the headset in the “Show Bluetooth
Devices†window. However, there are no services for it in the services
window. Further, I do not see “Bluetooth Stereo Audio†as an option in my
dropdown for “Sounds and Audio Devices†in the control panel. In e-mails
with the manufacturer for the headset, they explained I needed to contact the
manufacturer of the Transceiver. That would be Microsoft. What am I missing
and how do I resolve this problem to use the Bluetooth headset on my laptop?

WinXP does not support BT audio. You need some 3rd party add-on, or a little
patch from MS known as "Win7".
