how to show close date in history

I would like to sort the list of opportunities shown in a Business Contact's
History by 'close date' rather than 'created date.' How do I do this? I
have tried using field chooser, but can not find the right field.

When you're looking for the field to add in Field Chooser, tell it to select
its fields from User Defined Fields in Folder and choose Close Date from
there.

The field wasn't there, so I added 'Close Date' as a new field and it worked!
