Well, there are a couple of ways to do this depending on exactly what you
want to do.

(1) Slide Show > Set Up Show and set the slide show to only show certain
slides (such as 2 through 15).

(2) Create a custom show with the slides in any order that you like and use
Slide Show > Set Up Show to set it to show that custom show.

(3) Hide all the slides before the first one you want to show. However, I
don't think this works in all (or any?) versions. We had a discussion about
this recently, and I can't remember if it failed in every version of
PowerPoint or just some.

(4) Rearrange the slides to be in the order you want.

(5) In Normal/Edit view go to the slide you want and click on the little
slide show icon on the bottom of the screen to start from the current slide.
