Hi,

speed up my start up; he told me to uncheck all but att security suite virus

to run programs I get the follwing error message:

"windows cannot find 'C:\program files\mozilla firefox\firefox.exe'. makes
sure you typed the name correctly, and then try again. to search for a file,
click the start button, and then click search."

I tried to search for programs exct. but still nothg..same message every
time...

anything I click on I get the same message!

the only way I can get online is to click on "my document" and type address
into the address bar.

if you go to that folder
that windows is advising
you about, you may not
likely find - thus the
premise of this issue.

reinstalling firefox
seems to be the solution.

If you had used this program you would likely have been able to get back all
that you have lost:

You can use the startup program from http:\\www.mlin.net instead of msconfig and
that will suffice in most cases.
You can then experiment as the program allows you to switch off programs and put
them back on again. If you download it you will find the program sitting nicely
on the control panel where it is called startup

Try the LNK and EXE file associations fixes:

Fix File Associations.

People get into all sorts of trouble with msconfig, instead you should use:

You can use the startup program from http:\\www.mlin.net instead of msconfig and
that will suffice in most cases.
You can then experiment as the program allows you to switch off programs and put
them back on again. If you download it you will find the program sitting nicely
on the control panel where it is called startup.

Not a lot of people seem to know that one, it is brilliant
