Regedit & MsConfig not opening

G

Guest

I am logged in to XP as administrator but when I tried to run REGEDIT I am
getting the following message:

"Windows cannot locate the specified device, path or file. You may not have
the appropriate permissions to access the item."

The following message appears when trying to MsCONFIG:

"Windows cannot find 'msconfig'. Maqke sure that you typed the name
correctly, and then try again. To search for a file, click the Start button,
and then click Search."

So can anybody please help........I am unable to install anything because of
this.
