Bill

I protected some files on my WIN 2k PC using the Security
tab under file properties to keep a visiting child from
accessing them. After the child left, I tried to open the
files, but keep getting this error: "0xC00D11D2: Cannot
access the file". I've shared the folder & Files to
everyone, etc. and still no change. I am logged in as aN
administrator. Anyone got a clue what I might be doing
wrong? Thanks in advance for any help!

You could try taking ownership of the files, but it sounds like there wasn't
a problem with that, since you were able to change the permissions.

Can you tell me, where do you get this error? Is it when you try to load
the file through an application? If so, which application? This doesn't
sound to me like a Windows error message.
