How to remove a link from the address line?

I am trying to figure out how to remove a file from the
address line. I did go through the " tools ", " internet
options ", " Delete File ", " Delet cookies ", & " Clear
History ".

Then when I type " www.bl....... " then link is still
there!

Any suggestions?

Have you tried IE-Tools-Internet Options-Content-AutoComplete?
