How to remake WMP my default player again?

How can I remake Windows Media Player my default player again as I was conned
when updating RealPLayer to use theirs instead. – Am I a smuck or what? -

Open Windows Media Player,
Tools > Options > File Types tab, click 'Select All'
Apply > OK.

Control Panel - Add or Remove Programs - Set Program Access and Defaults. Click "Custom", select "Windows Media Player" and click OK.
