How to register Windows XP

I just bought a new laptop and cant find the place to
register windows xp. I wasnt properly connected when i
ran the first setup of the OS. Can anyone help me?

Microsoft Registration: Start > Run and type: REGWIZ /R ,
and hit enter.

Registration is optional. Activation is required and may have already been
done by you laptop's manufacturer, under their special OEM key.

If not, you will get a reminder screen which you should follow the
instructions.

You should get on the net, then go to
Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools - Activate Windows

You may find it not present - the machine being one of those effectively
activated by the maker for you. And they often provide a means of
registering *with them* which is the registration for support - there is
really no point in registering yourself as owner with Microsoft.
