cant register online

have any of you ever had a problem registering online?

i wasnt able to, but my dsl seems to be working fine i.e. i can view webpages, etc.

for some reason i also noticed that when in windows help and it trys to connect again it cant find my connection..

any help?

I had the same problem when I first installed XP Pro. It took about a dozen
tries over two days before the MS website would let me register. You can
either keep trying via the web, or call the toll free number to register.

Registration is always optional and doesn't get you much for doing so
anyway. It's not needed.
Activation is required and if it doesn't go thru over the internet then
you'll have to call ms and get activated. The phone number is on the
activation screen.
