how to re-enable device usage field

I mistakenly selected disable the video device in Adapter
type, properties.
I can't see anything on the screen. I can remote edit the
registry but not sure what field to edit.
Any ideas?

Try booting in Safe Mode Rob. That should load the
default device drivers and allow you to undo your
mistake. If that fails, and you happen to have a network
card in the machine and a second computer available, you
can try to use the second machine to correct the error on
the first machine. Stay away from editing the registry.
