how to put excel calculation on website pubisher 2000

I have used office 2000 publsher to create a web page fro my Real Estate
business.
On a couple of the pages I would like to create some excel driven
calculators for the general public. Additionally, I've some other excel files
that my client's need to access for their R.E. Investment purchases.
My question is, how do I go about applying the excel programs to the web
pages I assign th their respective purposes?
What I've tried comes back as a text format, not an operating calculator.
