I want to put SP2 and all the updates and extras I usually install on a new
or reloaded XP computer on a CD, in an MSI file.
I downloaded the installer program, but don't see how to do what I want.
Where can I get basic instructions on how to do that?

I don't want to do it through GPO. I want to put these things on before a
computer is connected to the network, or be able to send a CD home with our
home users to install on their machines.

So.. Brand new installs (right after you do them) is what we are speaking
of?
Why not Integrate SP2 and all patches into the actual install?

yes

The information is provided "as is", it is suggested you research for
yourself before you take any advice - you are the one ultimately
responsible for your actions/problems/solutions. Know what you are
getting into before you jump in with both feet.

Sorry, I didn't see the end of your message--I thought your were asking for
clarification :-)
But that's the question I'm asking: how do I get the service pak and updates
to install automatically, all at the same time, whether at the same time as
OS, or right afterwards?
