A LOT OF NEW COMPUTER GAME CD'S ARE WRITE PROTECTED WHICH
PREVENTS A BACKUP COPY FROM BEING MADE. CAN THIS BE
REMOVED FOR MAKING A BACKUP.

For starters make sure you have the caps lock key set to off before you
start typing, not only is it very bad etiquette it's nearly impossible to
read, which would simply result in people not bothering to answer you.

Write protected? Are you talking about floppy disks here? Yes you're
correct that you can't write to a "CD-ROM" so yes they are write protected
in that sense.

Thirdly this isn't a place for discussions on how to circumvent copy
protection. Most publishers will simply sell you another copy of the disc
if yours becomes damaged for a reduced price.

This site has lots of info about cd backup. most games are copyrighted and it's Illigal to distribute copies.

Alcahol 120% is very good.
