This is dependent on your PC, and has nothing to do with any OS.

BIOS utilities are usually available only from a power-on restart. Turn the
PC power off, then turn it back on.

Watch your PC screen carefully as it boots up, for the key to press to get
into the BIOS. Often, it's DEL, F2 or F10. If the OS starts to boot, it's
too late. You have to power off entirely to get another chance.

Your system manual should also have instructions for this.

Once in the BIOS, you will need to look through the screens to find the one
that has the "load defaults" option. It's usually not hard to find.

As in user view to pc screen, that setting would be,R.click
desktop,properties,
settings,advanced,adapter,list all modes.Start with 800X600-High color,
then try,1024X768 High color,& so on,thier really is no "default" setting.

That doesn't take you into bios, Pammi. Bios has to be entered at the
start-up (see Patrick Keenan) & when into bios usually there is
instructions ie; Press (?) key for default settings.
Press (?) key for best running settings (or words to that effect. :-)

It's best not to read Andrew's posts,he is almost always wrong and will not
listen when others tell him so.
