still i am facing problem in writing @ in my laptop. my laptop is toshiba
satelleit but i can't write @ in my laptop. if i press 2 with shift it writes

You have the wrong keyboard selected. Probably if you pressed the key that
shows ", you would get @. A better solution, however, is to switch keyboards
using Control Panel | Regional and Language Options | Languages | Details:
Default input language.
