How to insert Windows Media Player into Power Point 2003?

On the instructions for inserting Windows Media Player into a Power Point
2003 slide, the online instructions are to "...on the Insert menu, click
Object. Under Object Type, click Media Clip, and make sure Create New is
selected..." On my install, I have no Media Clip option showing. Without
that, I see no other way to load a WMP window to play a clip within Power
Point 2003. Any suggestions?

Is there not a "windows media player" object in your list??

You could also insert "movies and sounds" instead of object
