Incorrect Media Info in PowerPoint

From where does Power Point get media info for MP3's ? Windows Explorer
and Windows Media Player list the duration of a specific clip at e.g. 15
seconds, but when inserted into a PPT slide, Sound Options info lists the
"Total Playing Time" incorrectly (e.g., 1 min. 8 sec. -- so the slide won't
advance after 15 seconds, it waits for 1:08 !) How can I manipulate "Totral
Playing Time" info ?

There's a reason I "mung" my email address here. Spammers love to harvest email
addresses from newsgroups; I get plenty of spam as it is. Don't need any more,
thanks. Please ... NEVER quote anyone's email address in newsgroup posts.

But in any case, the email didn't make it through, somehow. Unless you're the guy
who keeps sending me "Awesome Augur" offers. Those get autobinned. <g>
