How to inhibit images from restricted zone sites ?

In general, if an image on the screen has the source of
http://ad.doubleclick.net/xxxx/vvvv/ad1.jpg

and I have *.doubleclick.net in my restricted zone,
is there anyway to tell IE6 (xp sp2) to not show these
images?

I was hoping to avoid using a hosts file.
Why doesn't IE6 have a mechanism for this
directly?

Firefox allows you to click on an image
and to block images from that domain.

Sometimes I can't decide whether IE6 just lacks the innovation
some of the other browsers have, or if they're walking a very
fine line. I'm thinking of what happened with the IE5.5
fiasco; first they were going to allow you to block third party
cookies, then they didn't.
