how to get a pps fil to work?

I downladed powerpoint but I still can't get myemails that are a pps fie to
work it brings me right back to the hompage where I need to download
powerpoint. What am I doing wrong?

Have you downloaded Powerpoint full application or the viewer?

It's not clear whether you downloaded Powerpoint (unlikely) or the free
PowerPoint viewer, but either way, it probably downloaded an installer program.

You'll need to find the program you downloaded and run it (doubleclick its
icon). That will install the actual software on your computer.

Kind of like getting a meal ticket. You can turn it into a meal, but eating
the ticket itself isn't very satisfying. Pass the salt, would you?
