windows mail coupling with pps attachements

Hey,
I am running on a Vista System using Windows mail. When I receive a mail
with a PowerPoint attachement I cannot open the attachement. There seem to
be missing a coupling between PPS-files and PowerPoint. I installed
PowerPoint form Windows Office 2003 and even tryed PowerPoint Viewer 2003 and
2007, but nothing works.
How can I get to automaticaly open the PowerPoint presentations ?

Hi Herman

Save the files to your hard drive and launch them from there. I have a
feeling this is a 'security feature'.

save to desktop ,right click on it ,go to open with and find a program as
powerpoint viewer or similer program(works viewer) and make it the defaul
program for powerpoint shows.hope this helps. John A

Vista mail may be set to block attachments

go to Tools > options > go to the Security Tab

uncheck "do not allow attachments"
