How to extract music from a PPS?

Hello "Microsoft Public Powerpoint" Friend,
I do have Microsoft Office XP. When someone sends me a pps, I
"bring" the pps (with one song and ten pictures, say) in the
Microsoft Powerpoint . I can then extract one single picture and
send it by E-mail to a friend, say. However I do not know how to
extract the song from it (without any picture).
Can one get the the song out of the pps and how?
Experts, please enlighten me.

Hi Urban

Open the file in powerpoint then save as web page (not single file webpage)
and powerpoint will create a folder of resources which will contain the
music file. Easy when you know how
