Hi All,

I have recently purchased a new HP Notebook with Vista pre-installed.
However, HP registration asks what version of Vista is installed being x32 or
x64, & I am not sure how to find out?

I don`t think it is that important, but I would just be interested if anyone
can advise how to find the version type.

Many thanks.

Start Menu->Computer (right click and select properties)
You'll see a dialog that shows (under System->System Type) the OS and
whether it's 32 or 64 bit.

right click on the COMPUTER entry on the start menu and select properties

a window will appear with info.
