Hi,
I can't seem to find any information on upgrading to Vista x64 Business from
Vista x32 Business. Lenovo shipped me a replacement T61 with the 32 bit
version but I'd rather have the 64 bit version for the extra RAM space as I
run Virtual Machines. Thanks.

Sadly, you can't upgrade from any 32-bit version of Windows to any 64-bit
version of Windows. You can use EasyTransfer to back up files and settings,
clean-install your 64-bit version, then restore files and settings. That's
it, though. Sorry.

Rich,
Thanks. I figured there wasn't an easy way to do it but I'm more concerned
with purchasing a license. I don't see a license upgrade from 32 bit to 64
bit on the MS web site. Is there an upgrade price or does MS charge the full
version price?

If you bought a retail copy of Vista Business, start here to obtain the
64-bit version for shipping and handling costs.

Rich,
Thanks again, that is just what I wanted. Unfortunately I have a OEM version
so I'll have to contact Lenovo.
