How to enable Windows Mail app in Win7 by Imorting WinMail Vista file.

Windows Mail is included in the Winows 7 Program files but is inoperable. This is a step by step guide to enable it to run at Techspot Forum enable WinMail app in Win7. Once the guide steps are completed, when first run, Windows Mail will auto prompt to be set as default, and email .eml files can be opened from desktop. It also removes the WinMail splashscreen at startup. Cheers PB

They have the Vista OS files available for download there. I'm not sure
that is legal.

It appears to be basically the same procedure.

Also using your space bar once in awhile would help. <wink>

I used this method. I have WinMail in Win7, but am just using it for news.
