HOW TO: disable the "registry editing disabled" message

G

Guest

I've deployed WinXP sp1 into a Win2k domain and have applied a GPO for
disabling regedit; however whenever a user logs on they recevie the following
message:

"Registry editing has been disabled by the administrator"

How can I disable this message from being displayed.

The GPO that disables Regedit is a user GPO and is the last to be applied.

Thanks in advance.

Hi,

By finding the script or the program or the "RUN" registry entry that
kicks in at logon and try to import some registry settings, and then
remove that script/program/reg entry.
