How to delete an icon in the taskbar?

I have this little program call RegCure and when it did its last update there
is an icon in the taskbar.
I have looked and nobody has asked the question of removing the item. I
thought it might be in msconfig but it isn't there. No settings on the
software(that I can find) to delete the ican. Any thoughts?

Considering how cr*ppy RegCure is, that doesn't surprise me. Contact their
tech support for help with their useless program.

Think you need a registry cleaner? Think again:

In the run key you can delete the entry

Right-click the system tray icon & exit it

Uninstall it

Find an option in the RegCure app to disable
its "helper" program.

Also, look in these registry keys for the "helper"
program:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

If found, open the "Task Manager" and end its
process. Then go to it's folder location and delete
the program, then delete the line in the registry.

I agree with Malke, you'd be better off without it.

I've come across so many people over the years who have been burned by
registry cleaners it ain't funny no more. :)
