Hi,

I have read the RIS primer article here:

http://www.microsoft.com/technet/prodtechnol/windows2000serv/howto/remoteos.mspx

Does this also apply for RIS install on and from a w2003 member server, or
does it exist another updated kb article?

I have prepared a clean w2ksp4 install with all applications and settings
for our two mostly used client models. Both support network boot. How do I
push a mirror image from these two into the RIS server for later
availiability?

Thanks for comments and hints

regards

Run 'Riprep.exe' on your client over the network. Riprep.exe is in your
RemoteInstall folder on your server.

But can I proceed from this with my finished and audited w2k disk with alle
necessary device drivers, office and other applications..? I have heard
that this is not the case and that I need to do the install all over
again...

Please clarify a bit what I need to do when I have already prepared a disk
image to use as point of reference

regards

Geir
