How to create "show Desktop" icon ?

I'd appreciate it if anyone could tell me how to create an icon, which could
reside in the Quicklaunch taskbar, which does what the "Show Desktop" command
does (ie when you right-click in the system tray and choose "Show Desktop").
Specifically, I'd the icon to show the desktop view showing my
Background/Wallpaper and other assorted desktop icons floating on top of the
Background.

I can create a "show desktop" icon by easily enough just by right-clicking
and on "Desktop" in Win Explorer and choosing "send to", but that resulting
icon seems unable to provide the Background Desktop view I'd like. Thanks.

Create a text file in Notepad as follows:

[Shell]
Command=2
IconFile=explorer.exe,3
[Taskbar]
Command=ToggleDesktop

Save it as Show Desktop.scf then drag it to the Quick launch bar.
Or just click on this link:

Restore/Add Show Desktop to Quick Launch (Line 61)

Also note that you can do this with a keyboard shortcut: the combination of
the Windows key + D or the Windows key + M.
