How to create a way that people can search the products I have

I am not sure if this is an Access 2003 question or Frontpage 2003. I want
people to be able to search my web site & bring up products, names,
desciption, price, picture.

For example: If you go on office supply web site & you type "paper" in the
search box, it will bring up or show all the produts that have paper in the
name or description, along with price, & a picture.

When I use the search form it brings up the page "paper" & not the actual
products.

Is this possible to do? (my web hosting does not support shareware, but
does support extentions.)

If your web site is on a Windows server that supports Access and ASP, you
can put this information into a database and use the FrontPage Database
Results Wizard to create pages to query the database.

Kathleen,

Thanks!! I figured the database part out. I have uploaded it to the web
page & got a results page. I verified the database & everything seems ok.

HOw do I create the text box so someone can type in "lead" and brings up all
the products associated with the word lead. I can create a search form,
which searchs the web page, but I want it to search the database & show the
results.

I can create a form, but it acts like it wants to "collect" information.

I am not sure which way to go.

I see where I can check the search form page, but I think I have to set some
type of criteria. What type of criteria is best to use? It asks for item
name (my table fiedl) (equal, like, etc)... what should i put underneath it
so a person can search the database?

I'm making progress. Thanks

I would start with something like "product equals" and take it from there.
It really depends on what you think your customers will want to search one.
