How can I create a site search?

I am relatively new to FrontPage... Currently, I am
working on a website where I would like to include a
simple site search. I want the search bar to appear on
each page in the site, so the Search Page template
provided will not do.
In addition, I must stick to fairly strict formatting
guidelines. Because of this, the Web Search web component
does not work (cannot have a "reset" button). Even if
this component could be formatted correctly - I am not
sure how to format the results page or how to verify the
displayed results.
These are my questions so far... I have been running into
dead-ends up to this point. So, any help you can provide
will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

The first question is: what kind of server is the site hosted on??

Steve:

Unfortunately, I do not know what kind of server the site
is hosted on. I can tell you the site is internal, or
available only through our Intranet. I am not sure if this
helps/makes a difference, but I did want to get back to
you.

My apologies...

You will need to ask the system administrator what kind of server.

Open your online site in FP and look at Tools Site Settings
