how to clear usernames and passwords

i have some old usernames and passwords stored on my machine somewhere and
whenever i log onto a site it gives me a list to choose from.

How do i delete these old usernames/passwords?

In Internet Explorer got to Tools - Internet Options - Content -
AutoComplete
