Login usernames and passwords no longer automatic??

My OS is Windows XP Home Edition (SP2). Yesterday I did some computer house
cleaning-deleting cookies, temp files, etc., plus I installed the latest
Microsoft updates. Now my computer no longer automatically fills in login
usernames and passwords as it recently did (nor will it remember them once I
supply them). Is there a way to reactivate this feature?

Hi, go to tools in IE, then internet options/content/autocomplete and place
a tick in all the boxes....
