I have managed to put a family video onto my laptop from my JVC DV through Windows Movie Maker, but want to create a disk for it to play on my Sony DVD Plaer

I have managed to convert it for my Pocket PC
I have managed to put it onto my laptop.
and even managed to put it onto CD-R which plays on my laptop
BUT I CANT GET THE CD-R to play on my DVD as it needs HiMat DVD Player (Ithink

so what do I do now

Anyone know how I can create a disk that plays on my DVD

See the CD Burning section of www.papajohn.org to see what software other
MM2 users work with and some of their notes about them.

New DVD players that support Highmat/WMV files are 'around the corner' in
being available.

You could create a Video CD (VCD) with your CD burner (assuming that format
is supported). Every DVD player I've seen supports VCD. The quality is not
great though. To get the best quality, you need a DVD burner.

I have written my movie to a DVD on my PC. It palys fine on the computer but it won't play on my DVD player. I have purchase and used Sonic 'My DVD 5.2' to write my movie....was this a waste of money or am I doing something wrong?
