How to automate deletion of Symantec from Registry?

What a pain in the a...this is, I decided to go with another antivirus
program, and decided to get rid of Symantec/Norton Anti Virus. What a
disaster that is. I went to the install/uninstall part of Windows, tried
cleaning up the registry, two days and hours later, I still have so many
items, including the PCAnywhere program. Meanwhile, I can't get out of
Windows Word (2003) I get thousands of Symantec error messages, that I'm so
sick of it, I don't know what to do. The only way to close Word now (what
does that have anything to do with Symantec) is to go into the task manager
and end the program. I also of course had Norton Premier installed, since
2004, every year it didn't work, and I kept buying the upgrade, hoping that
it will work one day. But it never did. I use Norton Enterprise at work and
love it. We have no problems with the product at work. I'm not looking for a
forum to nock Norton, please, I'm just pi***ed that I can't unload this
program an easier way.....Frustrated grandpa in California.........Peter

Look for and download a file named SymNRT.exe from Symantec's site.
This will totally clean out any remnants for System Works.
