delete symantec and other crappy programs from registry

Is there a registry program that will search for a pre-defined keyword,
like Symantec, and delete all instances of it from the XP registry? I
have to uninstall broken symantec clients from the registry. I have
several dozen Symantec clients that are not working and I need to
remove and reinstall. Any help would be appreciated to make this work
go faster.

Symantec offers a free "uninstaller" on their web site. And
Start/Run/Regedit/Edit/"Find" and "Find Next" will locate "Symantec",
"Norton" or any other term in the registry. If you use Regedit, back up the
registry first. Also set a restore point. And TREAD LIGHTLY!
