How does one switch off browsing sounds ("on click" sounds...)?

When browsing, we all hear sounds for example when we simply click on
a link. As I am recording to Minidisk from my computer whilst
browsing, I would like to turn sounds OFF so as not to hear the clicks
again when I am listening to what I have just recorded to my minidisk!

Please help - I know there MUST be some settings somewhere!

Change or remove the sound.
Control Panel-Sounds
"Start Navigation" and "Complete Navigation" are the relevant items.
