I have Windows Automatic Updates set to notify me of updates but not to
automatically download and install them. Today my system informed me that
about 9 upates and security patches were available. I selected a couple of
them to download and they were. But I was not given an option to install
them. So I selected a few more and downloaded them but again there is no
option to install them. The update feature seems to want to download all
updates before it provides me with the install screen. It will ask to install
updates upon shutdown, but I don't want to have to turn my system off to
install an update. Is there a way if Automatic Updates is set to "Notify but
do not automatically download or install" to selectively install the updates
you want. I don't know what folder these updates are downloaded to.
Thanks. Norm
